Allison Clements is a nationally recognized energy policy expert with more than 20 years of experience shaping the future of the U.S. power system. From 2020 to 2024, she served as a Commissioner on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), where she focused on grid planning, interconnection, cost allocation, and energy market design. Prior to FERC, Allison held leadership roles at the Energy Foundation and the Natural Resources Defense Council and began her legal career in private practice.
She currently serves as Principle of 804 Advisory, which helps stakeholders navigate complex policy issues of the energy transition. In addition, she is a Partner at ASG, a firm specializing in data center advisory services. Allison has served as a federal energy advisor on multiple expert panels, including the National Academies of Sciences committee on grid resilience, and taught as a clinical lecturer at Yale Law School. Allison holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
